Marla Sokoloff is marrying film and television producer Alec Puro as they are in the news with plans to wed in November of 2009. After five roles of being a blushing bride, Sokoloff has had plenty of practice for her big day. She plays a girl whom after weeding out a few bad seeds, finally makes it to the alter in Hallmark’s “The Flower Girl” set to premiere on November 14.

As a biography, Alec Puro was born on April 25, 1975 in Santa Monica, Califorinia so his age is 34. In 1995, Puro became the second member of a band based out of California known as Deadsy. He is the American rock band drummer. Deadsy has played in numerous shows in the California area as well as touring with Korn during The Family Values tour. In 2006, he founded Gramoscope Inc. Gramoscope has dubbed a broad catalog of music marketing all genres for film and television. The couple are said to have met through a mutual friend in 2004.

In addition to the wedding details, according to Stupid Celebrities Gossip, it reports that Marla Sokoloff has been cast as a tv bride a number of times, which made finding her real-life dress critical. More-so, that she didn’t feel the emotion that most brides-to-be feel when you find “the one”. However, when the chosen dress arrived at her house, her excitement set in with a moment of reality.

However, contrary to her pouffy dress in the Flowergirl, her actual wedding gown is quite simple stating to ET online that she didn’t want to do anything over-the-top and that she is reportedly having only two bridesmaids.

On Sunday evening former The Practice star Marla Sokoloff wed love Alec Puro (a drummer for the band Deadsy) in Beverley Hills at hotspot Il Cielo, a popular Italian restaurant. Sokoloff arrived looking absolutely beautiful in the strapless Amsale Tyler dress with a black sash, holding a bouquet of all-white flowers, and accompanied by five bridesmaids and her two matrons of honor.

Il Cielo is known as one of “the most romantic restaurants in Los Angeles”, and the pair chose to wed under the stars in the restaurant’s Chapel Garden during an intimate ceremony in front of 100 guests. Mark’s Garden (a celebrity favorite!) designed warm colored floral arrangements featuring dark red roses, that were used to decorate the venue. To create the right ambiance, candles, twinkling lights, and chandeliers were also used for decoration. Guests were served fruit, puff pastries, and champagne during a pre-ceremony reception, where they sat at tables decorated with candles and roses and listened to classical music. The actual reception was a sit-down dinner, with dancing, and cake from Buttercake Bakery for dessert.

"Getting married tomorrow, holy crap," The Practice actress tweeted at 11:54 am on Nov. 7. By the next afternoon, however, her jitters had passed.

Looking stunning in a strapless Amsale dress with black Chanel shoes to match her sash, the bride carried a bouquet of black and white anemones as she arrived at LA restaurant Il Cielo.

Gili Rashal-Niv and Marla's childhood friend Jaime Lefler were the matrons of honor. "They both wore black," a guest tells Life & Style exclusively. "Alex had three best men, one of whom was Jake Paltrow, Gwyneth's younger brother."

After walking down the aisle to a song by Alex, who also is a film composer, the couple exchanged vows they wrote themselves.

Guests were treated to a three-course Italian meal in a room filled with flowers from local florist Mark's Garden. "The colors of the wedding were autumn colors -- deep reds and oranges," the guest adds.

"Their first dance as a married couple was a song that Marla herself recorded for Alex. It was a cover of her singing a Fleetwood Mac song."

The happy couple traveled to Tahiti for their honeymoon. Congratulations!

‘The Practice’ star Marla Sokoloff and her long-time boyfriend, Deadsy drummer Alec Puro, finally tied the knot in an intimate Jewish ceremony at Il Cielo restaurant in Beverly Hills on Sunday (November 9).

Marla wore a beautiful white strapless gown (photos below). The bridesmaids were dressed in black and Gwyneth Paltrow’s brother, Jake was one of Alec’s groomsmen. After the ceremony, newlyweds and guests dined and danced under a canopy of lights, flowers and vines in an Italian cobblestone patio.

Dishing more details, the gorgeous bride has a strapless Amsale dress with black Chanel shoes that matched her ribbon and walked out with black and white anemones arriving at LA restaurant II Cielo.

The maids of honors were Gili Rashal-Niv and Marla’s longtime childhood friend Jaime Lefler.

One guest gushed, “They both wore black. Alex had three best men, one of whom was Jale Paltrow, Gwyneth’s younger brother.”

The bride walked down the aisle to a song by Alex and the couple then exchanged their vows they wrote.
